Ladies ready to take centre stage in fashion show with a twist

THE annual Ladies Lunch & Fashion Show – with a twist – in aid of Sam Beare Hospice will be taking place once again at the Hilton Hotel in Cobham on Monday (14 March).

With tickets already sold out and a waiting list in place, it’s set to be the biggest and best yet.

Guests will be invited to spot the difference between High Street outfits and charity shop creations, in a fashion show that caters for all ages, shapes and sizes.

Later there will be an opportunity to buy the outfits, as well as a selection of fashionable accessories, at bargain prices.

Guests can also look forward to entertainment from the Rock Choir and a raffle with a difference, where instead of the ubiquitous lottery, entrants will buy dinner plates with an envelope attached and a guaranteed prize enclosed.

The team behind the fashion show, which will feature High Street outfits provided by John Lewis and an incredible dress provided by Swoon Bridal retailing at £3,000, say that spotting the difference may prove much harder than first thought.

Event organisers Pam Ling and Margaret Watford are excited to host this much anticipated event for the fifth year in a row.

“All the guests are really looking forward to coming along and already its looking to be the most successful we’ve ever had with the tickets selling out even quicker than usual,” said Pam.

“We’ve partnered up with some fantastic local businesses including John Lewis and Swoon Bridal who are providing some of the outfits and Barclays Bank in Weybridge whose staff will be helping at the event, plus the branch manager who will be doing some modelling in the fashion show.

“All the money raised from the event will go towards supporting Sam Beare Hospice so it’s all in aid of a great cause.”
