Woking charity walkers tumble up Snowdon

ONE of the notable events on the glorious May Bank Holiday weekend was a group of people, including several Woking residents, who ascended Mount Snowdon carrying a tumble dryer to raise funds for 10-year-old Tyler Brunton, who suffers from brain cancer, and his family.

As may be imagined, the sight of a group of people taking a tumble dryer to pieces and then carrying it up the 3,560ft mountain in North Wales attracted considerable attention from tourists and walkers.
