Political drama on stage

THE corridors of Westminster ring with the sound of infighting and backbiting as Britain’s political parties battle to change the future of the nation, whatever it takes – as votes are won or lost by one.

James Graham’s political drama, This House, is ever-topical it seems, although it is set in 1974, and back then there were fist fights in the parliamentary bars and sick MPs were carried through the lobby to register their crucial votes.

This House comes to Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from Tuesday (22 May) to Saturday 26 May.
