A WOKING resident, aged 81, describes how dementia has given him a new perspective on life.
I don’t resent having carers. It was an adjustment at first, but they soon became treasured companions and with them, I don’t feel alone, I don’t feel ashamed, I don’t feel afraid. I am grateful, for the life I’ve lived and for those around me who help me live it still.
