A SPECIAL exploration event on Sunday meant a day of adventure for Girl Guides from the Woking East Division. Units of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and senior sections from Chobham, Horsell, Woking, Pyrford and West Byfleet enjoyed a fun-filled day exploring the world through five different habitats – mountain, forest, water, savannah and desert, all set within the confines of Hoebridge School.
Learning about different environments and their impact upon them, the 250 girls got to try out activities such as roller skiing, reptile handling, water filtering, cactus crafting, making catapults from bamboo and dance mats.
