The RHS Wisley Flower Show returns next month.

Running from 1-6 September, it promises a six-day floral extravaganza with vibrant displays, expert advice and unique shopping opportunities at every turn.

This year’s show will welcome more than 30 specialist nurseries showcasing quality plants for sale, with something to inspire everyone from beginner gardeners to seasoned professionals, including carnivorous plants, edible shrubs and bonsai trees.

Joining them will be more than 20 trade stands with gardening products such as tools, pots and art available to purchase and take home.

On 5 September, the show will host the BBC Gardener’s Question Time for their annual Summer Garden Party this year.

Ticket holders will have the chance to meet the GQT panellists, ask their burning gardening questions and hear lively discussions on the hottest topics in horticulture. Tickets must be booked in advance and include entry to the garden and RHS Wisley Flower Show.

The National Dahlia Society show is an integral part of the RHS Wisley Flower Show, with more than 100 competition classes of dahlia cultivars providing a sea of colour in the marquee.

Top growers from all over the country exhibit their best blooms here, from tiny poms to enormous giants in every possible colour.

On the final three days of the show (4-6 September), the “Celebration of Dahlias” transforms the marquee with displays from growers and floral artists who will share imaginative displays of garden and cut flower varieties and advice.

On 5-6 September guests can enter the Visitors’ Dahlia Competition by bringing dahlia stems to the National Dahlia Society marquee before 12.30pm.

For even more eye-catching displays visitors can head to Seven Acres to see floral art designs by the Surrey Area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies.

This year’s theme is “That’s Entertainment” and visitors can expect to see some wonderful and imaginative designs all using environmental methods of arranging. Visitors can vote for their favourite design here too.

RHS Hilltop will host a packed programme of talks on insightful topics such as sustainable planting combinations, seasonal flowers and unusual edible plants.

For those visitors looking for car-free travel to the show, the free shuttle bus service between RHS Garden Wisley and Woking train station returns.

Additionally, hourly public buses continue to run from Woking and Guildford seven days a week, and from Kingston Monday to Saturday.

Admission to the RHS Wisley Flower Show is free for RHS Members and normal garden admission applies to non-members. For the best non-member ticket price, visitors should buy online in advance.

The RHS Wisley Flower Show is open from 10am - 6pm Tuesday to Friday, 9am - 6pm on Saturday and 9am - 5pm on Sunday.
