DEPUTY principal Nuweed Razaaq cooked up a feast of Asian food as his farewell gift to staff and students at Woking College.
Mr Razzaq was leaving the college at Old Woking after 12 years teaching in the business department. His new job is at Coulsdon College in Croydon, where he has been appointed principal.
Mr Razzaq was a highly respected, well-liked, influential member of staff. As well as leading many college trips he was a hero of staff football matches. His farewell menu included mild, spicy and hot chicken curry, spinach and cauliflower curry, butternut squash and sweet potato curry, onion bhajis, sweet potato bites, naan bread and potato and onion fry.
Catering manager Gina Hill said: “it was an absolute treat to work with Nuweed. I loved cooking with him – fabulous food from a fabulous guy.”
