Woking joint-interim manager Craig Ross was satisfied with his side's efforts after they drew 0-0 at home to high-flying Kidderminster Harriers in the National League.

“We dominated large parts of the game,” said Ross.

“We knew Kidderminster were coming into the game full of confidence. They were on a good unbeaten run, but we didn't give them anything.

“We dominated large parts of it in terms of territory and pressure. We just didn't find that little bit of quality or moment of magic in the final third.

“It was always going to be a tight game won on a bit of quality, a mistake or a set piece.

“We had some great deliveries from set pieces we're disappointed we've not made the most of, because that can be the difference in games like this.

“It's something we learn from and have to get better on but, overall, on the performance I’m delighted with the lads' effort.

“To dominate a team that is in good form is pleasing. That final last little bit is putting the ball in the net. There are things for us to work on, but we're fully aware of that.

“We didn't really give Kidderminster anything – I don't remember Will Jaaskelainen having any save to make of note.

“The only bit we needed to improve was our decision making in the final third.

“There were a couple of moments at the end where we've tried to have a shot from distance when we just needed to stay calm, stay patient, trust what we're doing, keep working it and not get carried away in the emotion of having to score.

“There were lots of good performances out there. To a man, I can't fault anyone, so I'm pleased with the team in general.”
