SEVERAL young male mice are looking for their forever homes.

The mice are around two months old.

They are living at RSPCA Millbrook in Chobham while they search for their new families.

The centre’s Debbie Pearce said: “We currently have several male mice within our care. They all arrived from a home of more than 100 mice after their owner came forward asking for help.

“Although some of them are currently living together, we would prefer for them to go and live by themselves in their new homes.

“That is because they are all boys and cannot live with each other as they will fight.

“And they cannot live with girls.

“As these boys are so young they will need lots of time and gentle handling given to them so they can have companionship in the form of human attention.

“They will require lots of toys and enrichment, as well as things to chew and lots of bedding to burrow in.

“The boys must each live in a cage with minimum measurements of 60cm by 37.5cm by 37.5cm.”

If you are interested in providing a home for one of the mice, visit www.rspca-millbrook.org.uk to complete an application form which will be emailed automatically to Millbrook.

Remember, though, that application does not guarantee adoption.
