ATHLETICS: WOKING AC’s athletes got the measure of elite competition at this year’s Surrey County Championship at Kingsmeadow Athletics Centre last weekend (12-13 May).

Regarded as one of the toughest county championships in the UK, the Surrey competition provides a barometer of where athletes rank in their respective age groups, often having to come through the heats and semi-finals before even they reach the final.
