THE Liberal Democrats have Woking as the 26th most winnable seat on their general-election hitlist after taking Somerton and Frome from the Conservatives with a 29 per cent swing in the recent by-election.

Candidate Will Forster requires a nine per cent swing to overturn Conservative MP Jonathan Lord’s near-10,000 majority.

Guildford, also held by the Conservatives, is 11th on the list, with a 2.8 per cent swing needed to defeat a 3,300 majority.
