A planning application for a padel court has been submitted to Surrey Heath Borough Council.

Plan 26/0745/FFU refers to the erection of a padel court “following infill of existing pond at Oakwood, Chertsey Road, Windlesham”.

The supporting planning & design and access statement notes: “The submitted court specification confirms that the court would measure approximately 20.1 metres in length and 10.1 metres in width. The court enclosure would comprise a combination of glazed and mesh panels together with associated lighting columns and playing surface.

“The development is proposed within a landscaped part of the site that is well separated from surrounding properties and enclosed by existing vegetation and boundary treatments.

“The padel court would be used by the occupants, their family and guests, ensuring that the property as a whole would remain in residential use.”
