VIP guests were in a generous mood at the recent Children with Special Needs Foundation Ball, with £35,000 being raised for the popular local charity.
A total of 230 guests donned their black ties and gowns for the annual CWSNF Christmas bash at Wentworth Golf Club. There was certainly Saturday night fever on show as excited guests snapped up auction goodies.
A London Hotel stay and West End show were presented to lucky bidder Chayne Whittington by comic Tom O’Connor.
Following a luscious four-course dinner, tribute act Walk Like a Man performed the hits of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons.
A ‘Red and Yellows’ raffle proved great fun, as always, with the last man standing bagging an overnight stay at Holiday Inn, Mayfair, a theatre voucher and a Waitrose Christmas Hamper.
This was the 21st Christmas Ball that the charity have put on; Founder Gordon Parris said: “It has been one of the best nights we’ve had. Huge thanks to all.”
