The Lightbox Gallery and Museum and local partners are showing off the rich and varied history of Woking borough in Woking’s Heritage Showcase.

Lightbox is throwing open its doors for a day-long celebration of all things heritage in Woking, including the Woking's Story gallery, heritage craft displays and the chance to hear from local history experts.

Visitors will also be able to see the current exhibitions, Animal Encounters and The Lost Gardens of Lobsteropolis.

This event is part of the Unlocking Woking’s Heritage Collection project.

Anyone who is involved with local history or heritage crafts and would like to join the Lightbox team on the day should email heritage project manager Amy Stone.

Children will be admitted free and entry by donation applies to adults.
