A LARGE audience was treated to an evening of laughter and music when the seventh Bobby Davro Gala Spectacular was staged at the New Victoria Theatre - in aid of the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
The show, compered by the comedy legend, featured a wide range of top performers, including Jim Davidson, The Tiller Girls, musical-theatre star Lee Mead, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, former X Factor contestant Chico, Billy Joel tribute act Elio Place, and comedians John Maloney and Phil Butler.
His connection with the hospices goes back to the wonderful care given to his mother by the organisation and he makes regular visits to patients and staff at the Woking premises.
