THE streets were painted pink on Friday evening when hundreds of Woking & Sam Beare supporters turned out to back their local hospices in the annual Midnight Walk.
A wave of women young and not so young flocked to Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands last week, with fancy dress the order of the day.
A brand new route was laid on for participants this year, with walkers taking on an eight-mile journey through Brooklands, Byfleet and Addlestone before heading through Weybridge and back to Mercedes-Benz World for refreshments and a medal at the finish line to mark their achievement.
