Plans are moving forward for the development of 30 new homes on the site of the former Castle Grove Nursery in Chobham.

An application submitted to Surrey Heath Borough Council reads: “26/0630/RRM Reserved matters application pursuant to condition 1 of application ref. 25/0284/OOU for 30 dwellings, associated parking, landscaping and access and demolition of existing buildings (all matters reserved with only access considered). With access, layout, scale, appearance and landscaping being considered. Castle Grove Nursery, Scotts Grove Road, Chobham.”

The proposed properties include two-, three- and four-bedroom homes as terraced, semi-detached and detached houses as well as detached bungalows. Fifty per cent of the dwellings are to be affordable homes.

Regarding site layout, the existing site access will be stopped up, and a new site access created on the western side of the site frontage to Scotts Green Road.
