Dame good panto is on show in Pyrford

PYRFORD Little Theatre has been saving residents something to look forward to this New Year with their annual pantomime in the village hall.

In true British tradition, the production of Cinderella, written by Ben Crocker and with performers aged from seven to 70, is packed full of good ol’ family fun,  singing, dancing, plenty of humour and audience participation.

Having put three successful performances ‘behind them’ last weekend, ‘oh yes’ there are another three to go on Friday (tomorrow) and Saturday.

Ugly Sisters, Cheryl played by Ian Lacey and Brian Beamish as Beryl, give the audience exactly what’s expected of them – bucket loads of slapstick and more. Also performing are the Allegro Performers Academy.

Cinderella, aka Rachel Davis, Prince Charming (Chantelle Peat), Fairy Godmother (Sheila Stewart) and all the other usual suspects keep their audience in stitches and suspense for the happy ever after ending…

Cinderella will be shown tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm and twice on Saturday (16  January) at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £9 for seniors (over 60), and £6 for kids.
