Police ask for help in search for missing Woking teen

POLICE are appealing for help from members of the public to help locate a teenager who has gone missing from the Goldsworth Park area of Woking.

Nisha Mazhar, 13, was last seen in the Woking area yesterday morning (Sunday, January 12) at around 9.30am. Surrey Police are growing concerned for the welfare of the schoolgirl and describes her departure and lack of contact with her family as out of character.

Nisha is described as an Asian girl, around 5ft 5” tall, of a slim build and with long dark brown hair. She is believed to have been wearing black leggings or trousers, a dark grey top, a black three-quarter length coat, with a white scarf and brown Ugg boots.

Officers are carrying our enquiries to establish the whereabouts of Nisha and are asking anyone who knows where she is or who may have seen her to contact Surrey Police as a matter of urgency by calling 101 quoting reference 45140002927.

Alternatively if anyone has information and does not wish to leave a name the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
