Officers issue plea for witnesses

DETECTIVES from North Surrey CID are appealing for information following a burglary in Addlestone.

The theft at the property, which is in Crockford Park Road near to the junction with Brighton Road, took place some time between 4.30pm and 5.20pm on Monday, August 11.

It is believed the offenders forced entry through a door at the rear of the house before carrying out an untidy search of the property.

It is reported that two computer tower units, a wireless CCTV camera and a distinctive orange bag were taken. At this stage it is not known if any further items were stolen during the incident.

Two men were seen coming out of the driveway to the property before walking into nearby Darley Close. It is believed they then left the area in a car.

The first suspect has been described as white, about 25 years of age, 5ft 8in tall, with a medium build.

He is thought to have been wearing a dark-coloured baseball cap, blue jeans, white trainers, a light-coloured top and a dark suit-type jacket, and to have been carrying a bright orange Le Creuset canvas bag, which was probably taken from the property and appeared to have something in it.

The second suspect is described as white, also about 25, possibly with an Eastern European appearance, around 5ft 9in tall, with a stocky build. He may have been wearing a dark-coloured wig with straight hair.

ANYONE with details of the incident should call 101, and quote reference 45140067483.
