LOVE singing pop music? Want to have fun? Then Sing GwP is for you!
If you love singing – perhaps in the bathroom or while doing household chores – Goldsworth Park’s new community choir is for you. You will have fun singing with others and may make new friends, too.
“Even if you think you can’t sing, you can come along and have fun,” said Malcolm Herbert, who launches ‘Sing GwP’ next Tuesday (September 23) at 7.30pm. “Everyone has a song to sing: we want to help each other sing it. Singing ability isn’t as important as a willingness to have fun – but you may surprise yourself.
“At Sing GwP you’ll learn songs by ear – pop, folk, maybe jazz – and there will be no complicated harmonies to learn. You won’t have to bother reading music, even if you’re able to.”
“There’s no need to complete a joining form or make a booking – just turn up on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Coffee Shop lounge at St Andrew’s Church.
“Sing GwP will keep its costs to the minimum, to cover basic expenses including tea and biscuits at half time. We won’t charge high membership or attendance fees.”
