COLD, wet weather forced the cancellation of Woking Photographic Society’s exhibition in the town centre. The public was due to be treated to a display of prints following the society’s annual competition, which saw a wide range of entries drawing praise from the judge.
While the chilly wind and the rain prevented the photos being shown, the News & Mail reproduced a selection, along with pictures of some of the photographers.
“The weather on Saturday was not conducive for a pleasant experience for viewers,” said the society’s president, Justin Cliffe. “I’m therefore very pleased that the News & Mail has enabled us to share some of the prizewinning images from our exhibition.”
