A FORMER Hoe Bridge School pupil has fallen to his death from a balcony in Dubai.
Harry Harling, 15, plunged 100ft at a construction site after attending a party in the Motor City district, where he was believed to have had a fight with a friend.
He Tweeted “F**k the system” before apparently jumping to his death from the 11th floor.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious but because the legal drinking age is 21 and alcohol is only available in hotels in the strict Muslim country they are investigating how he was able to obtain beer.
They are investigating the possibility that an adult gave rugby-mad Harry alcohol.
Mate I’m so sorry, I should of never left you alone on Friday. I should of stayed with you till you got a taxi. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive meHarry’s city trader father Nicolus, 49, and mother Beverley, 46, are being comforted by friends.
The family sold their £700,000 house in Hook Heath, Woking, nine years ago and moved to Switzerland before settling in the United Arab Emirates.
A Dubai police statement confirmed Harry fell from a building that is still under construction and cops are investigating how he was able to gain access to the guarded site.
It continued: “Our investigation shows that he was attending a party with his friends in a flat in the same area and was consuming alcohol when a dispute took place.
“He left the party angry and went to an empty building nearby, and jumped from a window on the 11th floor and died instantly.
The Foreign Office in London said: “We are aware of the death of a British minor in Dubai and are providing consular assistance.”
Some of Harry’s friends have posted condolences on Facebook.
