Cards kick-off their pre-season preparations with an international affair on Saturday, July 11 against The Seychelles – in aid of the Kevin Betsy Foundation.

That is followed on Saturday, July 18 by a short trip to Isthmian League Premier Division new boys Staines Town, and a subsequent home game with League Two side Oxford United on Tuesday, July 21.

Portsmouth then come to town on Friday, July 24 – and under the stewardship of former Chesterfield boss Paul Cook, League Two giants Pompey are sure to provide Woking with their sternest test of the off-season. A home match with Leyton Orient (Tuesday, July 28) is also in the diary, as is a visit to St Albans (Saturday, August 1).

Admission prices for all pre-season games at Kingfield are £10 for adults, £5 for concessions, while kids go free. Fans can buy tickets in advance from either of the club shops – at Kingfield or Wolsey Place in the town centre – from next week.

Meanwhile Cards Trust have implored supporters to help the men in cardinal and white build on last year’s success. They plan to do their bit through the Boost the Budget campaign – but need the backing of fans.

A spokesman said: “Cards are on the up and you can help Woking have a better playing budget to take us forward next season. Boost the Budget is a straightforward way that fans can make a big difference by contributing from £10 a month.

“A total of 250 Boost the Budget monthly contributions of £10 will add £30,000 to Garry Hill and Steve Thompson’s playing budget. Income will also increase the fans’ stake in the club by purchasing shares in Woking FC.

“As fans, we want to help take Woking FC forward and are aiming to recruit 250 members to Boost the Budget by the beginning of next season. Many fans have been contributing in recent years and helped raise a fantastic sum of £120,000 for Garry and Steve’s playing budget. Please join us for season 2015/16.”

You can find details of how to contribute online at www.wokingfc.co.uk.

Elsewhere Scott Harrison has joined Woking as the club’s Development Manager. Highly experienced Harrison arrives at Kingfield having previously been on the books at Brighton & Hove Albion. More recently he was Aldershot Town’s Academy Manager, and is a FA Tutor.
